Aura Guardians, people who can sense/see the inner auras of people, and you happen to be one of them. You had your trusty partner Luxray with you ever since you were a little girl, and boy, was he protective! Any Pokemon that came near you was instantly knocked out by Luxray's over-powered Charge and Thunderbolt combo. You really didn't mind it, though, when it came to wild Pokemon, you really weren't planning on having any other Pokemon by your side besides Luxray, but he took it way too far with trainers, he completely destroyed their Pokemon within the first few moves, and you always had to apologize to trainers for being too rough.

Which brings you to where you were now. You had just "battled" a construction worker on Iron island, when really Luxray just attacked his helper Machamp and now you were making Luxray apologize for the disturbance, luckily they forgave you relatively easily and let you pay them back by helping with the construction project.

"A'ight kid, ya done good fo' today, set ya tent up and rest, k?" The boss yelled over his shoulder to you, you nodded and left the site for the day with Luxray at your side. You took notice that the wind was picking up a little, so now you had to alter the location of where you would set up camp.

"Great, now where should we sleep?....Hey, Lux, see if you can find a good spot to set up camp with that "super vision" of yours." You suggested as the wind began to pick up a little more, causing your (f/c) cape to flow behind you a little bit harder than before. Luxray barked in response as he searched the area for a suitable spot, after a few minutes, Luxray barked a few times and started charging towards something.

"HEY LUXRAY! GET BACK HERE!! WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO YOU?!" You ran after Luxray as best you could without hurting yourself over the numerous boulders and jagged rocks. You finally arrived at a huge crater where you saw Luxray squaring off against a Lucario, you had a near heart attack when you saw Luxray using Charge, especially since both you and Luxray knew that Lucario was a Fighting/Steel type, which meant that the coming Thunderbolt attack was going to do way more damage than it normally does. You raced down the hill as fast as you could and screamed for Luxray to stop. Luckily he heard you in time to halt his attack, you panted for a few seconds before Luxray decided to make sure you were alright by rubbing its nose in your shoulder. You smiled and pet Luxray on the head to calm him down before you made your way to Lucario despite Luxray barking and growling and tried to apologize, but Lucario stopped you by connecting your aura and his.

'It is alright child, I sense that you want to apologize for your partner trying to battle me, and you are forgiven.' Lucario nodded to you to show that he really meant what he was saying, you gave him a half smile and signaled to Luxray to apologize as well, Luxray refused and barked that he was just tying to protect from this "dangerous" stranger. You scoffed before you noticed that another aura was in vicinity, and your suspicions were confirmed when you heard a rather deep voice call out for Lucario.

'That voice belongs my master, Riley.' Lucario stated to you and Luxray. Luxray started growling again and stepped in front of you once the new presence made himself known. "Riley" was a very handsome guy with dark blue hair and dark blue eyes, he had extremely spiky hair covered by a hat. he also had a very familiar outfit on, but you couldn't place it as of that moment.

"Hi there, my name is Riley, what is yours, miss?" Riley stated after he walked up to his Lucario and pet him on his head. You shook your head to get out of your dream filled daze to answer.

"I'm (f/n) (l/n), and this is my partner, Luxray." You rubbed Luxray's mane a little to calm him down, you see, Luxray didn't want ANY guys to be around you, he thought that since you were his trainer, that you should only pay attention to him, and him alone. Not that you really minded, but you still wondered when it started, he was fine with you being around others when he was a Shinx, then things became worse when he evolved into a Luxio, and now its reach a peak with his evolution into the Luxray he is now.

"(f/n), its a very nice name, suitable for someone like you." Riley stated as he extended his hand toward you, you looked at his hand for a brief second before you shook his hand in mutual respect.

"Same with the name Riley, its fitting. So what brings you to Iron Island anyway?" You asked as you felt Luxray rub his nose into your arm, signaling that he wanted attention. You laughed lightheartedly as you patted his head as you kept your gaze predominately on Riley.

"Just training for the Battle Tower, what about you?" Riley stated as he took a quick glance around the environment, you told him that you were just training to better hone your powers and Luxray's abilities as well.

"Same, by the way, what's up with your outfit?" You ask bluntly, Riley was a little taken aback before he laughed lightheartedly, you had to admit that it was...nice to hear Riley laugh, and you felt a very minor blush creep its way onto your cheeks, which you just blamed on the wind.

"It's a replica of the great Sir Aaron's clothing, the original Aura Guardian, the only thing I don't have is the cape." Riley chuckled a bit, a faint blush on his cheeks as well as yours, then an idea popped in your head, and your undid the clip on your cape and whipped it around Riley's shoulders.

"There. Now you have the cape to complete the set." You said as you turned your head away from Riley, you could feel your cheeks burning, and Riley's arms around your waist wasn't helping.

............wait, what now?

Pause. Rewind. Play. Riley's arms around your waist? When did that happen?

"Thank you for this, (f/n), I greatly appreciate this token of affection." Riley buried his face into your neck and pecked your cheek. He kept whispering things which caused your cheeks to burn worse than a Flamethrower attack. Meanwhile Lucario was trying his best to not let Luxray kill Riley.

This will definitely be a long and interesting training trip, at least you have someone like Riley to help move things along.
